This booklet is associated with the Arab Climate Change Assessment Report. It provides a snapshot of the main findings and conclusions stemming from the RICCAR integrated assessment and their implications for the region. Based on the assessment findings, it presents key results on the impact that climate change is expected to have on freshwater resources in the Arab region until the end of the century and how this will affect the vulnerability of water resources, agriculture, natural ecosystems, human settlements and people. It also provides insight on how this assessment can inform regional policymaking and future work to advance understanding and collective action on climate change.
