Ahmad Dik is the Director of the Resources Management and Service Development Division, the operations arm of ESCWA. Mr. Dik ensures the implementation of all administrative, managerial and organizational services.
He provides advice to the Executive Secretary on policies and guidelines, monitors the management reform process, and coordinates central common services. He also represents the United Nations in negotiations related to the host country agreement.
Mr. Dik has 40 years of experience in the public and private sectors, including 26 years at the United Nations. He has extensive experience in the areas of administration, programme management, budget and financial operations, and general management.
Mr. Dik holds an MBA in Finance from Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas.
